Your Part-Time Controller, LLC hosted its highly anticipated National Annual Awards meeting on Thursday, December 12th, 2024. This year’s theme, YPTC Idol, brought excitement and creativity to the event.

The event kicked off with an exciting on-theme intro, featuring an audition-style video showcasing staff’s acting skills. Cameos from our ‘judges’ —CEO Jennifer Alleva, COO Heidi Pelczar, and CFO Nick Celenza —added a fun twist. The video content also included a day-in-the-life interview, commercial-style intros, and more.

After opening remarks and words of gratitude to the planning committee from Jennifer Alleva, CEO, it was time to get the show started with an “un-boxing” of this year’s staff gift, shipped in advance to each staff member’s home.

Departmental recognition followed, highlighting achievements in areas such as financial reporting, talent acquisition, sales and referrals, training, marketing, and more.

YPTC’s Champions of Culture were those who, in 2024, exemplified the company’s seven cultural pillars of Integrity, Equity, Strong Relationships, Education, Trust, Support, and Community. Accolades and celebrations filled the virtual chat with each recognition.

The popular #YPTCLife Awards followed, which spotlighted funny, heartwarming, and interesting happening throughout the year. Highlights included YPTC Pets, YPTC Fashion, and YPTC Around the World.

At the conclusion of this portion, it was time for the show’s grand finale: The Mentor of the Year Award. This year’s winner, Jeremy Akers, Manager, received over 20 nominations from his peers.

One staff member said, “[Jeremy] is always ready to help with humility and patience. One of his standout qualities is his ability to make you feel supported, no matter how busy he is. His calm and approachable demeanor creates an environment where seeking advice feels natural…his dedication to helping others grow and embodying YPTC values sets him apart as an exceptional mentor.”
