"I was able to take a vacation..."
What I like most about YPTC is the culture. This was the first time in 20 years that I was able to take a vacation and didn’t have to check in; I knew everything was being taken care of. At prior companies, I was expected to be available 24/7. Now, during the times that I’m not working, I feel like I’m present with my family, and I’m not distracted. No more hiding in the bathroom so I can take phone calls and check email; when I’m “off the clock,” I’m truly “off the clock.”
What YPTC leadership says is backed up by their actions. Everything they say about the work-life balance, the supportive nature of the staff, and how we all help each other – it’s not lip service, it is real, and it is refreshing. The executive leadership has open-door hours – with over 500 employees, who does that these days? It’s a great culture and great company. I’m so glad I made the choice to come here where I am treated like the professional I am.
