Ashley Garcia, Manager and leader of Housing & Shelter Specialization
Ashley Garcia is a Manager with YPTC and is passionate about the work performed by organizations providing housing and shelter support. Ashley is an experienced financial accounting professional with a background in leadership, strategic planning, forecasting, federal award management, and internal controls best practices. She is a CPA and has 10 years of experience with federally funded nonprofit organizations both as an auditor and as a controller, with 5 of those years serving housing and shelter nonprofits. Ashley has co-presented a four-part series available for the partners of Houston region's Continuum of Care. She has also presented trainings for the AICPA and United Way.
