Urban Enrichment Institute (UEI) is an out of school time community-based enrichment organization that serves middle and high school boys in the Houston Independent School District (HISD). Their mission is to empower boys to become responsible and productive men for their families and communities. They do this by providing enrichment programs such as: College and Career Readiness, Culinary Arts, Graphic Arts, STEM and more!

When Keith E. Cornelius became Executive Director of UEI in 2021, YPTC was the existing financial partner for the organization. Keith believes that YPTC has provided the expertise and stature needed for the board to have confidence in the veracity of monthly financial statements. He appreciates the “professionalism and demeanor of all the staff” he has worked with and says the accountants are “knowledgeable, accommodating, and very supportive of our organization”.

He highlights two YPTC staff members that really made an impact for UEI: Adetunji Odeneye, Manager, and Regina Mayland, Associate.
