Objective: BLM California seeks to work with partner organizations to assist with fuels management and community fire assistance program activities to reduce the risk and impact of catastrophic wildfires to local communities through coordination, reducing the amount of hazardous fuels, and furthering the education of landowners about wildfire prevention and mitigation. (Note this was originally conceived of as pre-disaster assistance.)

- Objective: SBA disaster assistance for homeowners, renters, nonprofits, and businesses of all sizes affected by the wildfires and straight-line winds in California.
Types of available disaster loans:
- Home Disaster Loans: Loans to homeowners or renters to repair or replace disaster-damaged real estate and personal property, including automobiles.
- Business Physical Disaster Loans: Loans to businesses to repair or replace disaster-damaged property owned by the business, including real estate, inventories, supplies, machinery and equipment. Businesses of any size are eligible. Private, non-profit organizations such as charities, churches, private universities, etc., are also eligible.
- Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL): Working capital loans to help small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, small businesses engaged in aquaculture, and most private, non-profit organizations of all sizes meet their ordinary and necessary financial obligations that cannot be met as a direct result of the disaster. These loans are intended to assist through the disaster recovery period.

- Corporation: Walt Disney Company announced $15 million for initial and immediate response and rebuilding efforts, including to the American Red Cross, LAFD Foundation, and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.
- Foundation: Elevance Health Foundation (fka Anthem Health Foundation): Reports $10 million in grants for relief and aid work in Southern California.
- Foundation: BeyGOOD Foundation: Has seeded the BeyGOOD LA Fire Relief Fund with a $2.5 million donation.
