On February 29, 2024, Eric Fraint concludes his tenure as President of Your Part-Time Controller, LLC (YPTC). Announcing a professional transition in November 2023, Fraint expressed his anticipation for moving away from day-to-day operations after three decades of nurturing YPTC. He looks forward to channeling his time and efforts into various endeavors, including philanthropy and cherishing moments with his six grandchildren. Fraint will continue to be involved with YPTC as a significant shareholder, consultant, and member of YPTC’s board of directors. 

Established in 1993 by Eric Fraint, a CPA from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, Your Part-Time Controller originated from the idea of offering flexible controller services. Eric soon realized that this was a natural solution specifically for nonprofit organizations. Fast-forwarding to 2024, Eric’s leadership has propelled Your Part-Time Controller, LLC, The Nonprofit Accounting Specialists, to become the 5th fastest-growing accounting firm nationally, ranking 75th in size, and garnering acclaim as an outstanding workplace on both national and regional levels. Today, YPTC’s team of accounting professionals provides accounting, financial reporting, controllership and CFO services, and other financial-related services to over 1800 nonprofit clients nationally. 

Eric Fraint’s commitment to nonprofits extends beyond his work at YPTC. He has played pivotal roles, serving on the Selection Committee for the Washington Post Award for Excellence in Nonprofit Management and holding positions such as Treasurer or board member in various esteemed organizations, including the Magee Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation, The Philadelphia Foundation, Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance, the Grand Canyon Association, and the Young Playwrights’ Theater of Washington, D.C. Additionally, he has shared his expertise by teaching nonprofit financial management courses at institutions such as Drexel University, La Salle University, and the University of Pennsylvania’s Fels Institute of Government. 

As Eric Fraint concludes his tenure as President of Your Part-Time Controller, LLC, and transitions into a new phase of professional and personal pursuits, his legacy of leadership and dedication to the nonprofit sector continues to shine, leaving an indelible mark on both YPTC and the broader nonprofit community.
