When first entered the workforce after college, it became clear to me that my top career values were focused on working for a company that did good work, and treated me like an individual. YPTC exceeded my expectations, and continues to provide a workplace where I feel valued and respected.

Coming from a marketing and public relations education background, I had a lot of options for the types of companies I could work for. My first position was at a large company, where it was difficult for me to feel like I was making an impact or feel heard. I felt extremely dispensable, especially once COVID hit. After a couple years of constant anxiety and stress from work, I looked for a new position, and found an opening in the marketing department at YPTC.

YPTC always gets nominations as a Best Place To Work, and it’s really true. The best part for me is, throughout my career journey from Marketing Coordinator to Marketing Operations Manager, I have always felt my ideas and feedback were valued. I truly feel like I am making an impact in the work that I do – both from my personal career perspective, and from the perspective of the organizations we reach. I appreciate how everyone here is constantly recognized for the work they do, and clearly valued by their colleagues. It is a delightful environment to work in, and I look forward to continuing my career here.
