Welcome to

Your Part-Time Controller!

We help nonprofit organizations with their accounting.

If you are an executive director or a board member of a nonprofit organization, we can help you to have an efficient, effective financial department.

From basic bookkeeping, to accounting, to controllership and CFO support, this website will tell you how we can help you. More importantly, though, don't just take our word for it -- listen to what our clients have to say.  Throughout this website, at the top of each page, we highlight case studies from our clients.  Then, click on the Our Clients page to read the complete stories.

We build stronger nonprofits, one accounting department at a time.

That's all we do...and we do it very well!

The staff and management of Your Part-Time Controller are making a concerted effort to assist the many nonprofit organizations that were devastated by Hurricane Harvey when it hit Southeast Texas, particularly in Houston where YPTC recently opened our newest office.

“There are literally thousands of nonprofits in the enormous region impacted by the hurricane, and these charities will take many months, if not years, to fully recover,” said Andi McGunnigle, Manager in Houston. “Fortunately, all of our clients came through the storm relatively well, with only minimal flooding and brief limited access. But there are so many more in the human services, arts and culture, education, health and other fields that were severely affected.”

Many of YPTC’s employees have expressed concern for these charities and have made financial contributions to aid in their clean-up, rebuilding, and increased demands for services. YPTC is matching staff’s donations on a 1:1 basis, doubling the donations available to Houston-based nonprofits.

YPTC began serving the greater Houston area in early 2017 and we will shortly be expanding our staff to serve our growing number of clients in the nation’s fourth-largest city. Fortunately, YPTC’s Houston office, located near the famed Galleria, came through the hurricane in good shape.

YPTC is proud to do our little part to help the Houston nonprofit sector on the long road back to recovery,” she said.

Your Part-Time Controller was proud to serve as a sponsor of “The PowHER of Working Together.”The Women in Nonprofit Leadership Conference was a sold-out event held on Wed., April 5, in Houston Hall on the University of Pennsylvania campus in West Philadelphia, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The conference brought together current and aspiring women leaders from Philadelphia-area nonprofits to discuss such relevant issues as empowerment, fundraising, capacity building, board development, hiring, collaboration, and diversity, and to foster meaningful relationships that last beyond the event.

We are pleased to be able to help so many organizations adapt to the evolving landscape of nonprofit management.
